METRO Landmarks was founded by Lucia Zapata Griffith and is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina; we offer Design and Construction services. Our team has extensive experience in both commercial as well as single and multifamily projects. We evaluate and develop projects such as: apartment conversions, infill redevelopment, and office realignment. METRO Landmarks identifies, evaluates, improves, and manages investment properties for clients as well as our own real estate portfolio. We also identify, evaluate, redevelop and manage Investment Properties. We have worked in condo conversions, infill re-development, office conversions, apartment buildings and a variety of projects. Our strength lies in the ability to listen to our clients and create buildings and spaces that will respond to their functional needs and are visually attractive while keeping an eye on cost and schedule. Our firm’s in-house Staff has expertise in all areas of design and construction. METRO Landmarks has been in business in North Carolina since 1997. We have developed partnerships with professional consultants and trade subcontractors that join us as required for each project. These relationships allow us to assemble the best team for the project. But... buildings are not all we are involved with! At METRO Landmarks we look for balance, for opportunities for creativity, to build projects and to forge relationships - with our clients, with our associates, with our trade partners. You are as likely to find us at a jobsite, at a Planning Commission meeting or having tea with a friend or associate at our favorite neighborhood spot! We allow time for other interests in pursue of a balanced life. Members of our team are involved in diverse community activities such as the Charlotte Mecklenburg Planning Commission, the Historic District Commission, the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte or the Rotary Club. But other activities include acting classes, Monopoly © games, organizing golf tournaments (now. don't ask how we play please), etc. |
